Further to the recent announcement from Apple and Cisco, Aon and Allianz now join in to provide enhanced services and advice around Cyber Security.
I have said for a while (and indeed this further backs up my view) those that orchestrate around the proposition will continue to win the hearts and minds of the client. No doubt the devil is in the detail, but here we have Hardware, Software and Services to help customers get a better grasp of Cyber.
I see this as the future and expect many more partnerships to come.
Long known for its consumer devices, Apple has embraced business users in recent years, adding additional security features to its iPhones and iPads. In 2015, Cook said Apple was generating at least $25 billion a year in sales to businesses.
The new offering begins with a cyber security evaluation by Aon, the companies said. Businesses using Cisco Ransomware Defense malware-blocking software and certain Apple devices can then apply for special cyberinsurance through the specialty lines unit of Allianz, the companies said.
